In 2020, we added a second location! In addition to the original Transition Seminar near Colorado Springs, we will offer two transition programs in northwest Georgia. One program is for younger teens and tweens. The other is for older teens.
(NOTE: Colorado will not be a location in 2021)
We are pleased to offer a 4 day program specifically for TCKs who still have a few more years before high school graduation. For those who will be 12-16 years old by July, this retreat will focus on more age appropriate issues. We’ll leave talk of preparing for college and independent living for the other seminars. Instead, we’ll focus on the issues that matter to life in middle school and early high school for cultural transplants.
While the four day Younger Teen retreat is only offered at the southeastern location, we regularly make exceptions for younger teens to participate in the Colorado program.
Because not everyone can make one of the programs in person, we’ve rolled out an online program the promises to be practical, relevant, and of course… fun. Read more about Wayfinder.
For more than 30 years, Interaction International has been coming alongside Third Culture Kids/TCKs and MKs, through our Transition Retreats. We’ve had over 1300 TCKs attend our programs.
Our program staff has decades of experience working with TCKs. Our combined staff experience includes working and/or living in over 50 different countries.
