Interaction International is gearing up to help respond to the global issues with COVID-19. We are pleased to roll out 4 great online opportunities you will want to leverage for the TCKs in your life.
TCK Connect: A New Online Service for those 12-25 years old
One of our new online services is hosting live video conferences for TCKs/ATCKs of different ages. It’s an opportunity for them to connect, share stories about being a TCK, and also talk about how current events and current circumstances impact them. Although this is very informal, Interaction International team members moderate the conversations. Furthermore, we can divide the calls into smaller break out rooms as the groups grow larger or as different conversations are needed. TCKs can come and go as they like. Run on our Zoom platform, TCK Connect links are not shared publicly. Because we want to reduce malicious participation, we will send the links to those who are vetted. Finally, we adjust our settings to make the meetings secure and safe.
TCKs from all organizations are welcome at these events. If you are a TCK caregiver who would like to use our ZOOM platform and join us with your kids, please let us know. Also, we can talk you through what we’ve been doing in this new online service so you can do it on your own. We love spending time with all TCKs. However, we know there’s value in connecting on an organizational level, too.

TCK Live: A New Online Service for TCKs and Caregivers
Another new online service is TCK Live, a live interview available through Zoom (register below) that also appears on our Facebook page when the link works. To begin, our team talks with different experts on TCK care during the live cast. We discuss tools, tips, and resources these experts recommend in our current uncertain times. Furthermore, during the last half of each TCK Live we will take questions submitted by the live audience. Past episodes of TCK Live can be viewed on Vimeo.

MK Caregivers Training- Online
MK Caregivers Training moved online! This four part online training with two additional individual coaching sessions comprises our online MK Caregivers training. Who will benefit from this training? First of all, this is helpful for those new to MK care in their organization. Furthermore those who simply want help re-evaluating their flow of care will reap rewards from this training. The following is an outline of topics that will be covered and when they will be presented:
- Wednesday, April 29th: 10am to noon EDT – TCK Definitions/Profiles/Foundations
- Wednesday, May 6th: 10am to noon EDT – Flow of Care and Developing your Plan
- Wednesday, May 13: 10am to noon EDT – Transition Model and Effective Caregiving
- Coaching Session 1 (scheduled individually)
- Wednesday, May 20th: 10am to noon EDT – Educational Issues and Empowering your Organization
- Coaching Session 2 (scheduled individually)
