SUMMARY:NAFSA: Association of International Educators
DESCRIPTION:Megan\, in partnership with Dr. Hannah Morris\, will present at the annual NAFSA conference. Their session will highlight higher education’s expansion of the term “international student” to include TCKs\, CCKs\, and globally mobile students. F1 visa students are “international” yet not all “international” students have an F1 visa. Megan and Hannah will present how to ensure all students receive the support for a holistically healthy transition to university. Participant feedback from this interactive session will be collected for an open access document with all results to continue the conversation and help international student services and international enrollment management offices support all of their students across the globe. \nThe NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo unites nearly 10\,000 attendees each year from more than 3\,500 institutions and organizations from over 100 countries. It is the most comprehensive international education event serving the diverse needs of the entire international education community. NAFSA 2019 is the must-attend international education event of the year!
